NAMES OF GOD
Throughout the world and the history of religion, the concept of God, or the Supreme and Ultimate Divinity, has taken many forms, faces, and names. Each and every one of these names are considered sacred by those that speak them as they are not only used to refer to God but to communicate with them as well. Which of these names are the most accurate, correct, ancient, holy, or original, we, as a church, cannot say. Whether or not there even is a God or divinity of any kind, we cannot say. It is not up to us whether or not there truly is a God who created all mankind and rules over the universe and everything it includes, but we certainly assume that if there were one, they would probably want their children to live in peace and harmony with one another as preached by Nomromism. The following list is a short eclectic collection of names used in reference to God from throughout the nations, religions, and ages of the world.
